Welcome to Your Dashboard

Your builder used Digs to manage your home's constructionNow that you have the keys, this account gives you a place to track warranty issues, access documents, and stay organized as a homeowner. This page walks you through what you're looking at when you first log in.

Warranty Tickets

The first thing you'll see is your warranty tickets. If you've already submitted any requests, they'll show up here. You can scroll through for a quick overview or click New Ticket to submit a new one.

To dig into the details of a specific ticket, click View Ticket. That opens the full thread, including any photos, attachments, and a note on the ticket's current status. You can also get there by clicking Warranty in the top-left menu and selecting a ticket from the list.

One thing worth knowing: our AskDigs AI reviews each ticket in the background and pulls up documents that might be relevant, like warranty coverage details or product guides. It's a handy way to find answers without having to search for them yourself.

If you're not sure how to write up a warranty request, we have a separate video that walks through the process.

Recent Documents

At the bottom of the dashboard, you'll find Recent Documents. These are files your builder shared with you during the handoff, things like warranty manuals, appliance guides, and other home documentation. It's a quick way to get back to something you've already opened.

Comments and Tasks

On the right side of the dashboard, you'll see a snapshot of recent comments and tasks. Your builder may have left notes here, and you can add your own too.

Tasks are especially useful for tracking ongoing home maintenance. Things like replacing air filters, servicing your HVAC, or winterizing outdoor faucets are easy to forget. You can create reminders for yourself, assign things to others, and log anything you've already taken care of.

Clicking a comment from the dashboard takes you straight into your plan view, where you can see it in context. We have a separate video on comments and tasks if you want to learn more about how those work.
