Creating a Digs Project: Where Is My Blueprint?

When you create a new Digs project, the final step is uploading your floor plan. This is where some people pause, not because something is wrong, but because blueprints live in different places for different teams
After clicking Create Project, you’ll be guided through a short setup flow where you:
Name the project
Add an address and basic details
Upload your blueprint
The key thing to know is that Digs doesn’t assume where your blueprint lives. You choose the source.
Common Places Your Blueprint Might Be
On your computer
If the blueprint is stored locally, simply upload the PDF from your computer during project setup.
In cloud storage
If your team uses Dropbox or another file repository, download the PDF and upload it into Digs during the Create Project flow.
In Procore Project Documents
If the blueprint lives in Procore project files, you can click ‘Upload from Procore’ and browse to locate the correct document.
In Procore Drawings
If the blueprint is managed in Procore’s Drawings tool, you’ll first need to export it as a PDF. Once exported, upload that PDF into Digs.
Supported File Types
Digs currently accepts PDF files only for floor plans.
We do not support CAD files, native drawing formats, or 3D models for floor plan processing. Converting or exporting your plan to PDF is required before uploading.
Pro Tips and ‘Good to know’
Digs has an integration with Dropbox - If a file is stored there, simply click the “Upload from Dropbox” link to get quick access
The blueprint upload step is required to unlock floor plan features
You can always re-upload or replace a plan later if needed
If you’re unsure where your plan lives, a quick check in Procore Documents or Drawings usually points you in the right direction
