What is the Homeowner Handoff?

The Homeowner Handoff feature simplifies the transition from builder to homeowner by packaging all critical project information into a digital home record. This ensures homeowners have everything they need—from blueprints to warranties—all in one place.

📌 Note: This feature is available exclusively with a Pro Subscription.

How It Works

Step 1: Initiate the Handoff

  • The Project Manager navigates to Project Settings

  • Click Handoff to start the process

Step 2: Package the Project

  • Organize the final set of documents, blueprints, and plans

  • Ensure all essential files, permits, and records are included

Step 3: Add Key Contacts

  • Attach subcontractor, vendor, and service provider details

  • This helps homeowners quickly find professionals for future maintenance

Step 4: Share Important Documents

  • Upload appliance manuals, warranties, maintenance guides, and owner’s documents

  • Ensure homeowners have everything they need for long-term care of their home

Step 5: Invite the Homeowner

  • Send an invitation to the homeowner

  • Once accepted, they receive lifetime access to their home’s digital record

🔑 Why Use the Homeowner Handoff?

Seamless transition—homeowners get all key information in one place
Reduces post-closing support—fewer calls and lost documents
Enhances professionalism—delivering a structured, digital handover

🎯 What Happens After the Handoff?

Once the homeowner accepts the handoff:
