Why invite others to your Digs project?
Collaboration is key to a successful build—and Digs makes it easy to bring your team, partners, and clients together in one place. From assigning roles to managing permissions, you can quickly onboard the right people and stay aligned every step of the way.
🚀 How to Invite Users to a Project

(Optional) Add a personalized message
Click Send Invites

✅ Option 2: From the Project Selection Screen
Click the Kabob menu (⋮) on the desired project
Select “Invite to Project”
Follow the same steps to add users, assign roles, and send

📩 What Happens After You Send an Invite?
🧑💻 For Existing Digs Users
The project appears immediately in their Digs dashboard
They also receive an email notification to confirm access
✉️ For New Users
They’ll receive an email to create a Digs account
Once they register, they’ll be automatically added to the project
🔐 Understanding User Roles
Role Permissions & Access | |
Administrator | Workspace-level access to all projects. Visible in the invite screen for escalations. |
Manager | Full project access. Can invite all user types. Requires a Pro User license. |
Editor | Can edit project content and invite Editors or Collaborators. Requires a Pro User license. |
Collaborator | Limited editing access. Can comment, complete tasks, and invite other Collaborators. Cannot access DigsCloud or Company Files. Ideal for guests or external contributors. |
💡 Pro Tips for Smooth Onboarding
Check for Admins & Managers: Not sure who can adjust permissions? The Project Invite screen lists them for easy contact.
Use the Kabob Menu (⋮): Send invites without opening a project—perfect for quick setup.
Existing Users = Instant Access: Already using Digs? Invited users will see the project immediately in their workspace.
Use Collaborator for Limited Access: Great for clients or subcontractors who need access but limited editing rights.
Scale with Pro Users: Assigning new Managers or Editors? Make sure they’re set up as Pro Users to unlock full functionality.
✅ Think About Your Team
Who needs to be in the loop? Digs is most powerful when everyone is connected. Use these simple steps to invite your team, assign roles, and foster seamless collaboration across the entire project lifecycle.
