How Do I Get a 3D Dollhouse for a Procore Project?

The good news is that the process is simple:
You don’t have to “turn on” the 3D Dollhouse feature. It happens automatically once your floor plan finishes processing in Digs.
When you create a Digs project and upload a blueprint, Digs begins processing the plan in the background. This includes preparing the 3D Dollhouse view. Processing runs on a first-come, first-served basis, so timing can vary depending on queue volume and complexity (including document clarity) of the floor plan.
Why Timing Matters
If you create your Digs project right before handing off a home to a homeowner, you may experience a delay while the floor plan and 3D view finish processing.
A better approach is to:
Create the Digs project earlier in the build process
Upload the blueprint sooner rather than later
Begin transferring documents during construction
By doing this, you front-load the blueprint processing and 3D generation to a less critical moment in the timeline. That way, the 3D Dollhouse is ready when you actually need it — not at the last minute.
How Do I Know When It’s Ready?
You’ll know the 3D Dollhouse is available in two ways:
The Digs Project Manager will receive a notification when processing is complete
A 3D button will appear at the bottom center of the floor plan screen inside Digs
If you see the 3D button, you’re good to go.
Pro Tips and ‘Good to Know’
3D generation is automatic
Processing order is first come, first served
Creating projects earlier in the build cycle avoids unnecessary delays at handoff
