Workspace Members such as:
Admins
Project Managers
Project Editors
These roles require a paid license because they have access to:
✔ Company-wide files and folders (DigsCloud)
✔ Multiple active projects
✔ Workspace tools like QR codes, digital signatures, and project duplication
✔ Full control over roles, permissions, and collaboration features
These licenses are best for core team members who manage projects day-to-day and need complete access to Digs' advanced tools.
🙋♂️ Who can collaborate as a free Guest?
Clients, subcontractors, vendors, and external stakeholders can be invited as free Guests.
They can:
✔ View and interact with specific projects they’re invited to
✔ Add comments, complete tasks, and stay informed
❌ But they won’t have access to workspace-level tools, company files, or administrative features like QR codes, signatures, etc.
Inviting collaborators as Guests is a great way to optimize your license count and manage costs while keeping your extended team connected.
✅ How to decide:
Ask yourself:
Does this person need access to multiple projects or company-wide files?
Will they be managing documents, creating projects, or assigning tasks?
Do they need workspace tools like signatures or QR codes?
If yes to any of the above → they likely need a paid license
If no → a free Guest account may be enough
